Google Analytics

Add your own Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID and Outline will include the GA4 tag on every document in your workspace, including publicly shared ones, so you can measure views and activity across your knowledge base from the dashboard your team already uses.

Setup

1. Create a GA4 property in your Google Analytics account, or choose an existing one.
2. Copy the Measurement ID for the property, it looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX.
3. In Outline, navigate to Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics, paste the Measurement ID and save.

Page views and events will start appearing in your Google Analytics reports within a few minutes.

Note: You must have an admin role to configure analytics integrations.
